This is one we’ve been dying to reveal to the public – Oz Tukka Australian Native Bush Foods and Botanicals!
Oz Tukka is a family owned business operating in Redhead near Newcastle, NSW in the beautiful Lake Macquarie region. Oz Tukka bring to the public flavours and foods that our First Nations people have been enjoying for thousands of years! Their bush foods, or bush tucker (tukka) consist of many multi award-winning products including native spices, macadamia nut oils, macadamia nut dukkah, spice mixes and gluten free muffin mixes.
We actually approached them one day, as we came across their website and noticed a few things we could greatly improve upon for them. For starters, it was built using an American owned platform, meaning they were being charged a pricey monthly fee (in US dollars!) and all profits were going overseas. With such a wonderful and interesting range of products, we really wanted to help promote their business to the world even more with a beautiful refresh, and naturally we moved them over to the awesome free system provided by WordPress!
We integrated a much easier and user-friendly shopping cart system, full of great features like reviews reminders, a wishlist system, auto-generated PDF invoices and packing slips, complete integration with Australia Post Shipping and more!
